Recorra chooses NTM K-Maxi for a more compact and agile solution

NTM is proud to announce the delivery of a brand-new K-Maxi refuse collection vehicle to Recorra, a commercial waste management firm. This delivery marks the first time Recorra has chosen NTM for their refuse collection vehicles and underscores our commitment to providing tailored, high-quality solutions. The positive experience during the order process, combined with the timely delivery and responsive aftersales support, has laid a strong foundation for what we hope will be a long and successful partnership. Recorra is a sustainability-focused waste management company with over 30 years of experience serving London and the South East, managing over 35 waste streams, including specialist materials like coffee cups and hard-to-recycle plastics.

Why the K-Maxi?

Recorra chose the NTM K-Maxi following an earlier visit to our factory, where they were impressed by its exceptional build quality and attention to detail. This firsthand experience reinforced their confidence in NTM's ability to deliver a reliable and efficient solution tailored to their operational needs. The K-Maxi for Recorra is perfectly suited for trade waste collections, particularly on restricted access routes with its large payload. Equipped with features such as the EnviroWeigh Bin Weighing System and a bin tag reading system, the vehicle empowers Recorra to enhance recycling efforts and drive sustainable waste management practices.

Meeting Urban Challenges Head-On

The K-Maxi will play a vital role in Recorra’s operations, especially following a recent contract win. With access-restricted sites in the city requiring a more compact and agile solution, the 16-tonne K-Maxi proved to be the perfect fit. Initially hired on a short-term basis, the vehicle’s performance exceeded expectations, prompting Recorra to place an order for a permanent replacement.
