Management Accountant
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a CIMA qualification or equivalent, experience in a manufacturing company, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work within time constraints.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Managing the cash flow through daily analysis, weekly cash flow forecasts and communicating with sales
team and parent company. - Play a key role in the month end accounts process including posting journals, preparing analysis and balance
sheet reconciliations. - Work with the Production and supply chain team to provide financial support and analysis to help improve
manufacturing efficiencies. - Oversee monthly stock counts by imputing counts and analysing discrepancies.
- Responsibility for ensuring fixed assets are recorded accurately and the register is maintained.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Provide Financial support to Managers to assist in managing spend.
- Support IT projects and daily activities as per the business needs.
Any candidate wishing to apply must be proficient in all aspects of Finance in an SME and be able to plan their own time and workload in line with the requirements of the Company.
An ideal candidate will be professional and self-motivated with a good customer service ethos and the ability to solve problems alongside a desire to develop and learn. Communication skills are vital, both in dealing with external and internal customers. The candidate must be confident & flexible enough to work alone and as part of a team. Good organisational skills, time management, administration skills and attention to detail are vital.
The salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, but will include:-
- Competitive Salary – negotiable based on experience
- Basic Hours - 37 hours a week – Monday – Thursday 08.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 08.30am to 4.00pm
